Hi guys,
I have just bought a soft nudge bar for my pre-facelift Freelander.
I have all the fixings but no idea how to fit it.
I've tried searching the web and checked out the Rave CD but can't find what I need.
I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to fit it or where I can get the instructions.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, and welcome to LandyZone :p

If you register on Topix - it's free - you will get loads of info on your vehicle when you input the VIN number. Some stuff is subscription but all manuals and leaflets are FREE. I like 'free' - I'm an Aberdonian. :D

All original LR accessory fitting instructions are listed - I checked the nudge bars etc are all there - under exterior protection.

:) Remove front bumper, taking care not to damage arch liners as screws may well be rusty. When you have removed bumper, look at the alloy bumper bar which is in place behind bumper. There you will see some markings stamped into the top of bar (similar to this...iiiIiii...),these are used to fix the A Bar Brackets, place them as centrally as you can on these markings making sure the bracket is facing straight forward at all times.Mark your drill holes to fit the rivnuts (which are crap If they dont bite first time) then fit Brackets to bumper bar.Look on the inside of your plastic bumper casing, you will see 2 embosed circles about 2 1/2 inches across, these will need to be cut out for the fixing brackets to protrude through once bumper in place. Now look at your bumper casing again towards the bottom, you will see 2 embosed ovals more or less in line with the 2 big holes you have cut, these need to be cut out to access the lower fixing bracket of your a bar to your engine cover retaining bolts once you have bumper back in place.Hope this helps,if i have missed anything,i am sure someone will step in...lol :).
