Nordkapp & Arctic Circle - Winter 2013

A few weeks back we reached Nordkapp driving through Norway, Finland and Sweden.

Some of you will be following on Facebook but I thought it was worth posting up in here for reference.

We also went Dog Sledding in Finland with Hetta Huskies:

Then visited Gransfors Bruks Axes in Sweden:

Make sure you stop off at Lake Bled, also take in the Mali Alan pass , also take the road between Gospic and Gracac and look out for the A team bus , you wont miss it

Lake Bled done. Up in Plitvice NP now and looking to head back to the coast tomorrow. Looking at the Mali Alan pass now but I think it will be closed off due to snow. its 4ft deep up here in the mountains

May look at the D50 from Gospic to Gracac though.

No worries, left a note on your facebook. Deffo take D50 though. Just spent a while looking for old maps but i think ive lent mine out with the GPS co ordinates on If it is open, just get to Sveti Rok and locals will point you in right direction, really well known track , just dont stray off it
When you get to Bosnian border just remember they dont have sense of humour and you'll be fine

Sounds good, will find it on openstreetmap on the GPS in the morning, I have a rough idea now after looking at via michelin.

Great pics, hope to make NordKapp some day. Enjoy Croatia, one of my favourite Countries, highly recommend Rovinj, Torgir, Omis, in fact most of that part of the Dalmation coastline. Enjoy and safe travels.
