I've just seen this on the net; Landrover Soundproofing and 4x4 Soundproofing products and solutions I'm thinking of giving this a try. Has anyone on here tried this or anything similar? what were the results?

atleast it gives something for the water to soak into or to act as a barrier and keep the water held underneath so it will rust quicker..
