Noise from turbo

Hi LandRover friends.
Ive been so lucky (i think) to be a new owner of a 2005/2006 mod Freelander TD4 SE.
I love the car so far. Just been taking a service on the car. Changed all filters and oil the motor.
But i have a few questions. I have noticed a Turbowhining and only when i driving and the motor got to work. When car stand still and i only press the gaspedal there is no whining/whisteling
The exhaust is very fine and the car still got power. Its tuned to 140hk. Is the turbo soon going to collaps?
My other problem is that when the car stand still and the motor is running i can smell diesel in the coupe when the fan is running. When driving the dieselsmell disappear. Where can it come from. Cannot find any leak under car or under the hood...

For the diesel smell, check the leak back connectors on the injectors. They can perish or break, as they are covered by other parts of the engine you can't see the small pools of diesel.
As for the turbo, any chance of a video to help us decide??
