no spare on rear, legal?

As above, got my spare away being refurbed and neighbour suggested carrier might now be illegal (disco 1) as a dangerous protrusion.
Your thoughts?

Tell him to shut up then hand him some bog roll to to wipe the poo from his mouth. Had mine off got pulled they where not interested in that more the brake light that was out.

Took mine off with the intention of swapping the rear door on my 110 and has now been like that for months without problem. Actually prefer it, find it easier to park and the door is a hell of a lot easier to close.

as already said your mate/neighbour is talking sh*t but if your worried about it just put a load of washers on the studs and fit the wheel nuts back on just to stop pedestrians catching themselves on the studs sticking out. but other than that i would'nt worry mate.
