My Disco 1 has no Air Filter, the pipe goes straight to snorkel. Not sure if this will affect performance or not?? Not really bothered about snorkel so would it be best to go back to filter as I have a spare box?? Thanks

Thanks Mate, that's what I'll do, think I'll just do away with Snorkel and put it back to way it should be., In your pic is that the normal place where air box bolts in?

That would be good if you have Mate, I do have a box sitting waiting to go on to my Defender rebuild was going to use that if I had to. Taking the cables off we can do a bit of a swap if you want, Probably keep the rest the Light bar on the front is Fantastic for lighting my yard up at night when I go up to feed the dogs.
Oh forgot about the CB don't need that, it works and is all wired up to big Arial on the roof. looks new too.
I do need a decent Radio, are they easy to fit to Discos, ?

How much for that Mate with Lid,? and Radio, ? if its any good. Im No good whatsoever with electrics especially wiring a radio in, if it has plugs it would be perfect just to plug straight in. Pull it out carefully :D

You can have my Bush Cable Thingy's if you want them, we can sort something out for postage or something.

is there a bracket or something that the Air Box attaches to in engine bay ? Cant see anything in mine unless its been removed for the bodge job.

Need To have a look at another 300tdi or a Pic to see where exactly the box fits on to, think there must be a Bracket or something that it sits on. Here is pic of mine, whats the thin small pipe for in second pic ??

Air filter box sits on the inner wing, and is held in place on some rubber christmas tree thingies... the inner wing is punched to accept them... - I don't have a picture ... but I can take one if it helps......

The small tube on the inlet pipe work should be connected to the pipe from the oil seperator - so the injun breathes the oil vapour which escapes from the seperator ....

My eyes were offended by the sea of blue

My air filter for my snorkel looks like this.
