nissan Diesel

Was thinking of buying a Diesel engine from 1992 Nissan wreaked disposal truck. 6cyl turbo 210HP. Can anyone here tell me what it would take for me to put it in my defender 110. Is it possible? It comes with an automatic Allison transmission.

It was quite a common conversion, and there was a bellhousing kit available. Not sure if they are still made, or if you would have to find one used - but they do the kits!

I would change it to the nissan manual 5 speed box if you can, plenty about still. If you need any spares, let me know! I have spare heads, starters etc in the shed.

Don't forget they are 24volt!!
