I want to go but MrsK has a hospital appointment the following morning which needs an overnight stay on Sunday so I suspect I won’t be allowed to go.

Yep, I’ll be there as always. First year not going in the Landy, so we’re in the white van . Nothing particular on the shopping list, I’ll probably stock up on gloves,grinding discs, saw blades etc. Hopefully it will have warmed up by then!

well, didn't have a stall but did drive ~150 miles each way for a looksee....

bought 1 item from my 'list (£30 200tdi Disco rad/intercooler pack to use in the Offender

)

and £160 of other stuff that might come in handy (like another Slickshift setup & gearstick, probably go into a friends 300tdi Def90 and an X-eng disc handbrake)

It was the best I’ve seen for a few years. I wasn’t really after a lot for the Landy as it’s waiting for a chassis change next year. However, I still bought a new, genuine galvanised military front bumper for £50 (£120 normally), some of those silver, padded boxes from the silver padded boxes stand, a decent vintage ‘kindling’ splitter, a good selection of King Dick/Britool/Gedore large metric spanners for 50p each, some new safety boots (not the crap ones from the crap PPE stalls), some Hella lamps (I seem to end up with a pair of these after every visit, but can never find all the bits when I later go to fit them !!??), a vintage CK tool box with a trolley for £5, oh, and an overpriced £8 ‘Pikey Burger’. Good day all round.

The fear of food poisoning is all part of the experience. That load leveller looks handy, I didn’t even know that they existed!
