Hi, I joined last night, I'm from Co. Wicklow in Ireland, I just picked up a '89 defender and I use to have a discovery. I work on cars for a living, mainly vw's and i've always been big into mk2 gti's and i have a few of them.
I'll get a few pictures of the defender up when it gets a bit of a tidy, I have a '99 range rover in the yard too that belongs to a friend of mine. The head has just gone on it for the third time. I'm not too familiar with the landrovers and range rovers when it comes to engine codes and models so bare with me although I have worked on them, done clutches and prop shafts, servicing.
I will be looking for some advice on an engine change for the range rover so if any body knows of an easy swap let me know.
