Hello I’m new to the forum and new to land rovers. I’m in anchorage,Alaska. I’ve just purchased a new to me 2003 discovery 2 SE. the ignition was tampered with and had no keys. I ordered a ignition and door handle off eBay. I put the new ignition in and I hooked the battery back up and the alarm started blaring. I put the key in ignition with the hopes it would turn it off. Do I need to install the door handle and turn the key in that to get it to turn off? Thanks in advance
