Hello all, I've visited this site a lot in the last few years out of interest, been the owner of a Freelander 1 for a while but I've just gone and done something rash and bought a Range Rover Classic, something I've hankered for since I was a kid (They were new out then...) Anyway, as I'm about to launch into project 'You'll be Sorry' I thought I'd better join up properly like, seeing as I'm likely to need a lot of help.

Yes, it's still there doing it's thing. I bought it in a bit of a panic when my (large 4x4 of Japanese origin - don't know if you're allowed to mention them here) suddenly died. The TD4 has been pretty reliable and everything works except I seem to be plagued by window problems after a long summer of using them constantly. It was great in the snow too, all in all a pleasant surprise. Ever since it's got around friends and family that I've bought a Range Rover people have been queuing up around the block to ask me if I'm selling the Hippo!
 
Keep the hippo for when the RR breaks down every other week.

We like jap's on ere. Especially when yer post up pic's of them broken or broken down.
