Newbie window issue

Hi guys n gals. Newbie here!
Ive had a search but kinda in need of help. My front windows will not go down from drivers door. They will if i hold unlock on key. And i can raise them from the door. After numerous searches and ripping the wiring loom out the front sills both sides (common issue on youtube) i dont have the culprit there. Does anyone have any experience? My problem child is a 2003 hse td6. Regards Gordon in Newcastle.

Well, if you have a range rover post in the range rover section, a discovery in the disco section, freelander etc etc. I only really know anything about tratters. I googled your description of "2003 hse td6" and was met with disco and range rover results. All HSE is is High Spec, could be anything.

So they do the global opening thing, does the passenger window go down using the passenger side control?
