Hi all!
Just joined the site.
A car lover
Had many other makes
The land rovers I've had are
A 1999 P38 4.0 sold many years ago
A 2006 L322 4.4 sold couple year back
Now a 2003 Discovery 2 4.0 recently purchased for the stables it was cheap so many gremlins lol

Yep. If I remember correctly that's an engine. Don't worry it won't run for long.
It is a Land Rover after all.

I have a series. It sounds purdy good to me.

Hard to tell off the vid. Is it the ticking or the fan like whirling noise your not happy with.

Well it yea I guess it does sound like a fan noise, but it makes that noise when revved or pulling away/overtaking
Will try todo a better video tomorrow driving it.
Trying to book it into CR Allen & Sons asap

If that's the TD5 engine, my Defender sounds very like that. There's a lot of stuff spinning on those engines, including the viscous fan, the air conditioning (if fitted) the turbo, the centrifugal oil filter and lots more.
