so i bought a 90. my friend said they are good. i collected it yesterday. it has a fresh coat of paint so looks pretty. i have ordered a 2 inch lift kit, a winch, a roof rack, bucket seats with harnesses, a snorkel, diff guards and some big wheels. is there anything else i need to go off roading? i think i may buy an external cage as i'm woried about scratching my paint.
 
i started with a standard defender offroad it to find out what you need next keep going like that you may never need some stuff you mentioned

steve mate im as good as new to this aswell. i got a 11 and stuck a load of toys on it and yes, everyone wants thiers to look 'cool'. big tyres and shiney snorkel. i can tell u the basics and if you get any good advice let me know.

what is it you want to know? ill see if iu can help
 
Wading Kit but off roading and good paint job dont go well together chap. Would loved to have had your dosh for all the extras when I bought my bus.
PS. Just ignore any comments you dont deem to be worth while

i feel too bad. i was bored. i've been off roading for years, have a 1986 200tdi 90 with the nearest 'trick bit' being the waffle boards and the jate rings!

i'm sorry. i feel awful
 
this is a landrover site, dont ask for advice, you will get slagged to the ground just before nobody helps you mate
