I am looking for 4 new tyres for my vouge 04 got goodyear wranglar on at present.
Are they the best?:)

I have Goodyear Wranglers on mine, very happy with them. Had Hancook on my last 4 X 4 they lasted for ever, 100K kilometres a set. Might not suit the P38 though as it's known to be fussy about tyres.

I had a set of GY Wranglers (standard 205Rx16) on a RRC. When I took the car in to have the wheels balanced the manager called me into the bay to point out that, despite still having plenty of meat, the treads had what the trade called 'squirmed' His opinion was that, although being specified by LR, Wranglers were in fact unsuitable for LR products above the weight of Freelanders.

Perhaps you have to buy the right version. EU regs require a weight rating code on the tyres, the P38 requires a higher than normal weight rating. I can check the code if you want. Here in France if the weight code does not match the homologation details details for the car it will fail the MOT.
