Just had new starter motor fitted, it crunches when its initially engages, turn the key off try again and it engages and starts the engine, garage state it will wear its self in.
Only difference i can see was the old starter's cog was chamfered where it engaged the fly wheel, new ones cog is square.I've spoken again to the garage and are fitting another one tomorrow, any body got any ideas.
