Hi all

I have created a new Mk4 firmware with the 2010/2011 Range Rover splash screen. Below is a picture of what the new splash looks like in my Range Rover, compared to the picture of the 2010 range rover Check it out on my website: www.myrangerover.co.uk

Nice work Matt, how did you get on with lights and your battery drain ?

Hi mate

Thanks! i traced the problem to incorrect wiring by the previous owner, the problem was a permeant 12v power supply was being sent to the headlights inside the headlight there are 2 wires which i think supply power to the headlight height adjustment motors and the power was connect all the time. As soon as this was disconnected the battery issue went away.

Headlight height adjustment motors on a vehicle with self leveling suspension:confused: Are you sure ????

I believe he's talking about the left right adaptive lights.

the lights i have don't have the left/right turn round corner feature i was referring to the the headlight 'wiggle' that they should do at startup to make them level. i have a picture of the connector and wiring inside the light, i will post it on here later to get your views on it.

Xenon lights always include a self-levelling feature, this being one of the reasons why it isn't legal to change bulbs to Xenon, since other vehicles don't have this gizmo. I'm guessing Matt is refering to this device.
