Hi
I joined last year whilst working on a project, wont go there ;-)

Not been active on the threads yet but have two 110's, a 2004 td5 and a 1995 300TDi
(For my sins I also have a 1962 Mk2 Sprite).

Looking forward to reading and learning.

My first Defender was a 1986 90 (2.5 petrol)
Bought her and had a nightmare drive home using the choke to drive it!

Bodywork and chassis were fantastic.
Sold her in 2007 for £1200 with a full length roof rack.

Next was one of my current ones, a 2004 TD5 110
Had the usual issues, tired back axle, clutch, slave, tyres were all in poor shape, more damaged than worn, new injector harness (oil in ECU plug).
She has had a respray (didn't like the matt black roof, bonnet and arches).
Previous owner had fitted front axle stone guard by Rebel 4x4 and a steering guard (both being taken off and a refresh).
I have added LED lights

Chassis is great, was and is still plastered with a bitumen like stuff.

No serious off-roading but use her for carrying tools up to a small stretch of a trout stream I help to manage.
Goes ok but I haven't chipped it (don't know if the previous owner has).

My latest acquisition (Wife thinks I am mad, she may well be right).
It's an honest old 300TDi that someone must have really loved. Has an Alpine HU and speakers, Thatcham class 1 alarm fitted, has the full soundproof matting in the front and somebody had fitted Exmoor trim seats so teh foams are really great. The only problem was hte Neptune cloth is not very robust so we've retrimmed them in Moorland but retaining all the Exmoor foams.
Exmoor say the middle row are £1800 to buy (they wouldn't supply new trim alone.)

Rear door was shot so have a Puma replacement that is like new (no rust at all !!!) and have already got a replacement drivers door.
Will be looking to see what to do with the rest before respraying.
Oh and the Alloys are going and Modular to match the roof will be fitted.
