Hey folks just bought a Freelander TD4 HSE (Facelift).

Now begins the customisation, any recommendations?

Cheers,

Ash

If it were mine eye would be more interested in getting a full service done. All liquids changed. Before adding chrome etc.

I think replacing the nice orange bolts with stainless ones is in order and in terms of mods I'm looking at a remap to start with and in the semi distant future lift kit, snorkle and A bar.

Make sure it’s running well and serviced before upping the power. Chipping an engine for example, to make up for lost power due to wear won’t end well. You should be fine they are reliable engines

Snorkel - IMO they are useful in a desert but mainly have no practical value other than aesthetic, of which I think they look crap on a FL.
what I think doesn’t really matter though, aslong as you enjoy your Landy the mod ‘works’ :)

Yeah gonna service her and make sure she's at peak performance before remapping.

And yeah the snorkle will very rarely get any use but I'm a LR newbie and having a snorkle is a wet dream for me haha
