New Freelander model.

After reading so many dismal stories, how about this. There is to be a brand new Freelander coming out in 2007, it will be based on the new Ford Focus floorpan and have engines supplied by Volvo. With Land Rover being 100% owned by Ford they say this new model will be free of all the previous niggles and lots of Ford bits will be used. This could also account for some of the terrific deals to be had on Freelanders at the moment, and the rumours of parts and engine shortages. Will be interesting to see, although spy photos looked good.
