Hello Everyone

Due to new more strict MOT rules here in hungary I would need to change back my suspension which has about 40mm lift to normal.
On the front I have yellow springs and absorbers (I guess Britpart, but the previus owner has done it) and the back still air spring with spacer and also yellow absorbers.
My first question. If I change only the springs in the front and remove the spacer from the back (40mm down), can the actual absorbers still work fine or will they reach their limits?
If I need to change the whole configuration what make do you recommend? Are Britpart suspension parts OK (most of the suppliers stock only these or genuine)?
Thanks

I remember this from Belgium, almost exactly the same scenario.

How well do they know Discoveries? I have to ask as we used to get away with certain stuff, also we used to get through a lot of black stone chip paint and black waxoyl as it covers over the old non original paint and disguises it, if they are unfamiliar with the Discovery then it might just slip right through without a single remark.

As long as it is clean inside and out with the paper work present and correct with a happy smiling owner it goes a long way.

And a 20€ note in the ashtray as well...

I also have winch will have to be removed, but according to an ex MOT officer if the lift is not so obvious it can go. We will see....
