the file is encrypted,Gary at td5 alive does this to all his maps so its the full ecu you would need

ah sahme i do not fancy changing the entire ecu.
Is the nanocom still avaliable? i am in desperate need of one and have the cash waiting.

just to tag on to this thread i am thinking of getting a power upgrade,
what is better remapped ecu or power upgrade chip?or do they go together.
its for def 90 td5.
any info would be helpfull

Mine is a 1998 TD5 and its been remapped. On the early ECUs the chips were soldered in and the main one was not flashable. However it is possible to replace the main chip with a socket and fit the later ECU processor chip which allows you to do whatever can be done on a later ECU. Thats what has been done to mine by Gary at TD5 Alive.what year is your 90 mate?
early td5's wont remap but the later 1's are
