Nanocom or Hawkeye which is best?

Seriously, I think that the Nanocom EVO currently has the edge over the Hawkeye, and I say that as a Hawkeye owner.

When I bought my Hawkeye, the Nanocom was TD5 only, impossible to buy, and support from the one-man-band in Italy was non-existant.

So, at the time, Hawkeye was the only choice for a V8 DII.

I don't know of anything that Hawkeye can do, that Nanocom can't.

But I do know that Nanocom can program used key fobs (from the 6 digit code on the circuit board) and it can set SLS ride height.

Both of which, Hawkeye can't do.

bit late i know ,but as an aside, the hawkeye will need a dedicated cable costing over £70 to do the air suspension as well as the standard cable,i own a hawkeye but just ordered a nanocom after seeing one working .
:D

I just bought the nanocom evo last week. Very happy with it. Sorted my suspension levelling problem in 2 minutes. It was £347 all in delivered with full tracking. Came in 3 days.
I have been in contact trying to sort something else out with the suspension fob and had an email back in 2 hours.
Very helpfull at nanocom.
Only reason I went with it is because you can sort the suspension out without extra leads.

as a matter of fact you dont need any extra lead for the D2 SLS, all is managed through the existing diagnostic socket, the extra lead is for the RR EAS... if the SLS would have needed an extra cable not nanocom nor other tester would work without it

even so, nanocom seems more comprehensive than hawkeye

just a bit late but hey you showed willing to help. bought the nanocom evo back in april great bit of kit.been very helpful and helped a few others with it.

Thanks for information , I'm going to invest in 1 of the tools and so want to invest in the one that can do most, like I see the nanocom can program used keys but hawkeye cant, still trying to find any useful info on the lynx, it wont be the cost that defines my purchase but the practicality of the device.

Nanocom was the best thing I have bought for my Disco.
I can tell by the posts throughout the forum that nanocom is the most obvious tool of choice, the hawkeye seems good also but seems additional purchases are needed, as for the lynx only the factory information is available and not much from actual users , maybe because it's new to the D2 world
