Hi all, I pulled back on the drive yesterday to find a rubber part on the drive, I am not sure if it off my 2002 Disco 2 or weather is has just been flicked off the road... Has anybody seen this item before and is it of my car, if so where?. Please take a look a the pictures supplied, many thx.

I have also got that bit of rubber! I found it about eight years ago on the boot floor inside my 2000 disco 2! I have never found a home for it and everything seems to have got on fine without it.
 
Thx for your replies as I has been having a problem with the rear door strap jumping off the lug when i opened the door, it now seems obvious that it would be something to do with the arse end...many thanks malc, when the rain stops I will go and investigate.. Tyhx again all.

That's the seal off of the rear door latch striker, part number FRN100000
