I found myself a nice little project to tinker with.
It a 1993 200tdi with only 85K on the clock. The engine is sweet!

The chassis, crossmember outriggers, door bottoms etc. are excellent BUT she a bit tatty paintwork wise and needs big time bulkhead repairs.

This has the wrong roof which I shall replace as soon as funds allow. She started out life with a full canvas tilt.

Needs some serious work here but it not the whole bulkhead only around the vents

Looks like a good project! Bulkhead does not look to bad and, if i remember correctly you can get a whole repair panel that goes across the top of the bulkhead?

What happened with the V8 90 then? Did you sell it or still have it?

Still got the V8 but as soon as she's MOT next weekend I'm advertising her. Very sad to part with her. But I need something I can jump in and go and I wouldn't mind modding the new one which is something I never wanted to do Gloria. The new one was also pretty cheap which is always good.

Yeah it will make manouvering the Sankey a POP. :) I'm on the look out for a smooth roof for it or maybe even a truckcab.

Have got a grey truck cab that I have just taken off my 90 and put van sides on, even got the drop down tailgate with it :)

send me a pm if your interested.

I picked up my new roof last night. Well chuffed as its a genuine county roof one with all the interior trim and headlining.
Plus he chucked in the heated rear glass and wiper motor etc so I can convert the old door.

Picking the new one up next week and I can't wait.

Welder is standing by and I finish my current work contract next Friday so shall have some time on my hands for the project. I think I'll be pretty busy for quite a few weeks. :screaming_bug_eye_f

Why do people think that plastering filler into a rusty hole is going to solve anything..... it won't even make it look like the hole isn't there. It doesn't seal it as filler is porous

May as well put shredded newspaper and paste in them holes. I was happy to see the landy warts and all though. At least I know what I've let myself in for.
