I was walking across a carpark today and noticed a trail of liquid on the ground. I commented that someone was in trouble then looked back and noticed the trail stopped under the Landy. A huge puddle of red frothy ATF was growing on the floor.

ARSE!!

I think it might be the torque converter oil seal. Not one fecker stopped (about 6 landy drove past me on the side of the road) and it took 2 hours for the RAC to recover the vehicle which didn't please me either.

sorry to hear ya bad news Medusa. Give the AA a earbashing for taking so long/

Yeah very bad timing too. My Dad can't do any work on it anymore as he has a prolapsed disk and is waiting for surgery and I'm too skint to take it elsewhere with all the house expense at the minute. I cant fit it in the garage either so doing it myself on the go slow isn't an option this side of spring.

:hurt:

Hi Daft. Kris was the first person I thought of and if I had know where his place is I would have recovered the old gal there straight off. PM'ed him last night so here's hoping.

I was sooooo lucky because I nearly always drive the back way to Dorking which takes me down Wolvens lane. That would have been a great place to breakdown. Just shows no matter how easy the lane is you should never go alone.

I think it is safe to asume I won't make the Hampshire laning trip.
