My D2 so far

Here's a couple of pics of my td5 D2, so far I have fitted..

Mantec snorkel
265/75/16 maxxis tyres on new Modulars
Terrafirma pro sport +3 lift kit

I've got extended brake lines and wading kit to fit over the weekend, I'm currently window shopping for bumpers and underbody protection

That looks nice reckon a first four bumper would look cool

Yeah I'm after one with the fogs in they look good on a td5, i will have to wait a bit though spent out atm!

careful with your front tints , look well too dark , watched an unmarked police car ( grey audi) tug a corsa a month back in wolvo , made him peel it all off

That's bad but not as bad as being involved in an avoidable accident because you couldn't see where you were going. Do yourself a favour and rip the fronts off.

Let's see what the Police say then! They'll take a dim view (pardon the pun), make you tear it off AND fine you. If involved in a fatal accident, they'll throw the book at you and quite rightly too!

If pc plod wants to rip them off he's more than welcome to, I've never had a problem or been pulled before so fingers crossed.

did you try on the 265/75/16 maxxis tyres before the lift? would these fit a standard disco 2 with no lift?

Thanks.. Yes they were fitted before the lift, had to cut the bumper a little but apart from that no problems

did you do the window tints yourself? I'm considering doing it to my td5 purely because we are sleeping in it next year when traveling and i don't think curtains will look as good!

He may be really ugly so he's doing us all a favour!

What do you think of the Maxxis, as I am a big fan of Maxxis tyres, have them on my 'sensible' cars, and was thinking of the BigHorns for sometime for mine as an alternative of the BFG Mud Terrains.

Really good for the money mate, I was thinking they may have been to loud on long journeys, but really impressed, will be buying another set for my 90
