My blowers suck...

There's a loose connection on my heater fan blowers - it comes on and turns off when it feels like it. Plus you can see the lights dim so it's got to be a bad earth or short somewhere.

Question is, before I start taking out the dash, what area am I looking at to find the possible cause? Don't want to have to take out more of the interior than I have to! Are the fans run off a relay somewhere else?

Just look at the heater fan switch that is the only electrical part there is other than the motor and a damper or two, there's a relay on the side of the heater box

Oh that's good to know as the fans work fine (when they decice to work) I'll have a poke around next week and see what's occuring.
