P38A Multi plug

Main multi plug connector under the header tank took it apart to clean up all the pins and now car won’t start again all lights on dash but no check engine light and nanocom not talking to engine ecu to check code for becm do these plugs only go back one way or could it have blown a main fuse checked all relays and fuses and all seem good

Oh forgot to say nanocom connecting to other ecu becm and Wabco just not the one I need

I won't be touching that plug then.

Stay well away from it mate bloody nightmare got to fault find all the wires again just hope it’s not blown the fuse box

Fuses will go before the fuse box,try reconnecting it ,may be bad contacts.

It must be something in the air,my Nanocom talks to everything except the EAS.

do u want me to try and find the connector part number or loom for u

As am on the parts and ebay looking for bits so just thought if I wished me to see if I can find it , or wiring diagrams etc

just thought as I’m looking for parts wouldn’t hurt to look for the OP at the same time , but alas will have to wait until the op can kindly tell me what connector it’s part of and what it serves

thks, just looking for a full electrical manual so can cross reference it with the pins Piet numbers, well trying anyway, lol

Sorry gstuart was watching the football yer please any wiring diagrams may help it’s the main connector from the fuse box that then goes through the firewall will have to check all the wiring into the bottom of the fuse box I think waiting for a bit of dry weather

That's the diesel engine loom mate,it's similar to the round one in the photo but it's as post #11 under the expansion tank.

many thks, apologises , so is it a petrol loom connector I’m looking for plse, have been trying to find a picture of the engine and expansion tank location in order to pin where the connector is

was also going from the OP saying from the fusebox

plus don’t know why I can’t download the rave on my iPad

You won't see it in a photo, you've got to lift the tank out of the way.
