Mpg

Hi. I have just purchased a 2010 rangerover sport tdv8.
What should I expect on mpg.
I got a reading of 24mpg on a 350 mile round trip. And getting 14 mpg knocking about.
I didn't expect it to run on fresh air but is this normal .

Driving conditions and road type will make a difference, but it seems a bit low to me. I would have expected to see low 20s around town, and maybe high 20s on a gently run.

My D3 2.7 TDV6 did 22 MPG on my daily commute, increase to 30 MPG at a steady 70.

My current FL2 manual does 29 MPG on my daily commute, increasing to 38 MPG at a steady 70 MPH motorway journey.
