Can anyone help, as sales section is out of order cant shift lmy 90 at moment. mot runs out 7th january, have tax til end march, will i get ticket or is it okay to leave parked on public road once not driving (cant get started/ have time to sort) as had valid tax?

Providing it is taxed yu are ok to park on public road. It is obviously not ok to drive it as insurance is normally invalid if no MOT, however yu are ok to drive to an MOT station, providing it has been booked - ir dont tell the cops "I am on way to MOT" if the MOT station dont know anything about it. But it sounds like that is unlikely.
As sales section is not up and running - post it in the Defender section - Accy or Roy will move it when it can be. I wud suggest yu explain that is why yu put it there, just to stop yu being flamed! ;)

if an untaxed vehicle is left on the highway the owner is responsible for it you can be prosecuted for it as it is an offence. as its taxed till the end of march i would just leave it there but you will need to move it before the tax is up. here in north wales the police tow em away and crush em, then charge you for the privelege. post it in the defender bit if its a 90, ffs daft hat dunt yer know nowt ;)

yer need all 3 items to park/keep a car on the public road. mot tax and insurance.
most cops will let u off with the mot, if its taxed etc...
cant u find a mate or a neighbour with a spare driveway? if its off the road youre safe.

unfortunately dont know anyone with space, also am looking to get rid of it at moment as have not got time, space or experience to fix it so roadworthy and am unwilling to fork out to garage to make so. if had both time and space experience wouldnt bother me but dont got either :(

aye.
was just about to say, dont forget to sorn it when the tax runs out. otherwise youre liable for any/all tax, when you next tax it.

right second attempt to reply.
Unfortunately have not got time, space or experience to fix it. If had first two would be happy to bodge on and sort it eventually. However at moment cant afford to fork out to garage to make roadworthy. so if anyone in north east area intersted let me know, it will need trailer/ towing away as not starting.

Your not going to get pulled up about it if its got TAX, they bust you for MOT's when your caught by a number plate recognition camera and your plate doesn't have a valid MOT. So if its sitting in your street, unless they put a camera van on your street your OK!
