recently read on a website that if you shorten the acctuator lever bar it will increas the boost of your turbo. i think he did it to a 200tdi. eill this work on my td. and also if it does work whats a safe bosst increase?
cheers,tom.:)

why not, wat could possibly go wrong an imminent 200tdi retrofit couldn't sort out:D

Diesel .... heat engine ..... compression ignition .... air is good .... more air is more good ... more pressure = more air .... cooler air = more air ... cooler air at lower pressure = best ....

Ram it in guys!

A 200 tdi and a 300 tdi probably cannot hit excessive pressures anyway.

You MIGHT hoick them up to about 1.4 bar or so, which would be OK.

Possibly seen my post / site..

Ive done my 200TDI and more details pics and a step by step guide is on my site

STEVES SITE

its in the defender section on page 19, now running approx 16psi

DO NOT UP THE BOOST ON A TD you will kill it , the engines are weak at best and do not like extra heat.... mine was originally a TD so dont ask how I know :)

Cheers Steve
