I've bought another car today with the intention of doing trackdays so I need a more sensible land rover to use for towing and as a daily. This one certainly isn't that, so it's up for sale/swap/px

It's a 1998 S reg TD5 with 179k miles. I believe it had a new engine at 120k but I have no paperwork, although the engine seems to have a 15p head and the engine number is different to the log book, so I believe it to be true.

Chassis is good throughout and body is in decent nick too.

Mods include:
35" x 10.5" x 16" Simex Extreme Trekker tyres on black modulars (full set of 5)
2" lift Iron Man suspension
2" body lift
Heavy duty front winch bumper with swivel recovery eyes (still at standard height)
Rock sliders (not currently fitted, still at standard height)
Heavy duty rear bumper (lifted to match body)
Safari snorkel
Face lift headlights
Half roof rack
Ladder
Subaru WRX seats
Small steering wheel
Roof light bar with 4 spot lights
Rear work light
6" longer brake lines (brand new in packet, not fitted)
Inclinometer
Terrafirma 50mm arch extensions
Axle breathers
Straight through exhaust
Terrafirma Steering Damper

I've recently fitted a replacement bcu as it had afew electrical gremlins when I got it. All fine now. New clutch fitted recently.

Also just changed the gearbox for a low mileage replacement, as the synchros had gone in the original.

Front prop recently rebuilt.

Its a good solid disco with some tasty mods on it but I haven't the time for off roading aswell as other projects.

I'd like £3000 for it or will take a part ex of a standard(ish) 90 or discovery. No basket cases though please!

Location is Preston, Lancashire. It's MOTd until November and taxed until end of November.

Private plate will be removed and go back to S reg number

Cheers, it's certainly a head turner! Can't take much credit though, I bought it pretty much how it looks, just tidied up the loose ends, sorted the electrics and lifted the body to clear the tyres.
