lets face it the p38 rangie is looking like an old gal these days!:(
so without spending thousands on a new shape rangie i thought it was time to freshen it up as much as possible for as cheap as possible and do everything myself ! D.I.Y style .

so i went and got this for a bargain price of £1950
2.5 turbo derv, full black leather , leccy everything!!

off away on hols for a week so cant do nothing more till i come home:mad:
yeah i know the bonnet dont line up yet also but its because of the sport grill that needs to be chopped...but i threw the original p38 grill away and needed it to fibreglass to the sport grill so it fits in the original holes and the bonnet will close perfectly;)
but hey....at least im having a go:D

Fair play...it won't be everyones cup of tea but it does show how to pep up a tired looking 38 and when it's finished it will turn heads. If i had done it (and my 38 was white too) i would finish it off with a really subtle pearl white paint job. You've got plenty of glitz with the wheels and light conversions.

Nick.

Mate i am in f**king LOVE!!! :lvhearts-151:

Sell me your front bumper!!

Fair play mate its gna look sh*t hot!

mad murphy ur prob better off doing it yourself...will work out cheaper than asking a bodyshop !
needs alot of chopping though, battery gotta be relocated, airbox removed or modded, then theres the fun part of the wiring without paying silly money for the plugs off fleabay!
mine are wired to the standard p38 plugs and loom so the can be disconnected at any time, u just have to rip the guts out of the p38 lights...then wire them internaly into the sport lights.
so on the back of the sport lights they will now have p38 headlight connectors instead.
also for anyone whos done this lights conversion they will know that the wiring inside the sport lights is dodgy!!! for some reason the positive is really negative  ? most people will be too scared to try wiring them the wrong way though incase they blow the bulbs or the ballasts.

flo i got a kenwood 7" touchscreen dvd in the front and wired a seperate flip out screen to it also in by the centre arm rest for my daughter, had to take the heater vent out and chop abit away into the inside of the armrest box thing and run all wires under the carpets but it fits ok now. i pulled the bottom from inside the armrest box thing, fitted the screen and put it back in on top of the screen cage so i still get to use it if you know what i mean :)

Can you buy the lights already adapted?? So as long as you can get them to fit it would jus be like a plug an play job?

Or

Are there any step by step walk throughs for fitting them.

dont think you can buy them ready done?
you have to buy the connectors (mad hatter said he can get them) then chop your loom and fit the plugs ....then its plug and play.
or you could just use the internals+plug from the p38 lights so you dont have to buy anything!!:D
cheaper is always better imo;)
