Got a off road disco TD5, that I was paying £120 a month on with Adrian Flux... they've sent a renewal that is £134 a month now!! going from 2 to 3 years no claims as well!

Anyone else you'd recommend?

Unfortunately due to the recent rises in insurance premium tax, as well as recent changes to how the personal injury (Ogden) rate is calculated, premiums are increasing across the industry. If you wanted to drop me a PM I'd be happy to look into your renewal for you to see if there is anything I can help with.

Kind Regards
Jamie

Adrian Flux Couldn't beat my insurance, then I went to A plan got a quote and Adrian Flux changed their tone quick enough... however they still couldn't touch A plans!

Deffo glad you spotted my post here G! broke the £100 a month mark too! :p:p:p

hi

glad it worked out for u and u got a good deal

hopefully after the queens speech that there now going to work on ins permuims in bringing them down

still surprised in how high they are, seems with so many false whip lash claims puts everyone's else's premiums up

Even the rates for a normal std D2 are all over the place, seems to be no rhyme nor reason in it. Glad I did not have to look into a modded vehicle....

Cheers

i was amazed in the difference of quotes, mine was a grand cheaper , ins group 33

just gobsmacked with the vast range and agree i'm glad it's not modified in any way

Pick a number... ANY Number!!

Just gobsmacked that Adrian Flux are taking advantage of increasing insurance and saying that gaining a years NCB 'counters' any discount and still receive an increase! Poor poor performance

I'll not tell you what I pay for my little M-sport BMW it'll only upset you.....

(but old farts with 15 years NCD are cheap in many ways :D )

Love my BMW's I do... so much so I've already gone and got quotes on my monster 130 build, everything possible is going galv. I'm putting a 3 litre twin turbo out of a 3 or 5 series with the paddleshift 8 speed auto. and also putting the whole infotainment so i got the satnav, bluetooth etc.

considering I'm valuing it at £18K, NINE times the value of my Disco, I've been quoted £1400 fully comp... guess it's not too bad
