I have a Freelander 1 1.8 that misfires when you rev sharply and under load. At idle if you increase rpm slowly , there is no misfire. I have found three components that have faults , air intake temperature sensor , intake manifold pressure sensor , coolant temperature sensor. I just want to find out out the test procedures and values for each of these sensors to condemn them before replacement. I have replaced fuel filter , HT leads , serviced the vehicle. I did find that the metal ring on the fuel filter housing was loose when i was inspecting. Any help will be really appreciated. thanks

How do you know these sensors have faults? If going be TCs, are you sure a previous person hasn't unplugged them with the engine running?
The temperature sensors can be measured with a DMM, with the resistance changing as they are heated and cooled.
The MAP sensor should give live data on a suitable diagnostic of 101 kPa, with the engine off, but ignition on.

I cleared all codes by myself with a scan tool and drove the vehicle and checked again and these TCs came up. I will try those procedures you explained. Thanks
