Sadly I was unable to take pic but patted her dashboard

Not ever seen that sort of mileage on anyrhing I've owned over 56 years, though a '85 RRC had probably been there more than once, 15 previous owners but only 50K on the clock o_O
If I'm still running my old Beemer when it's done another 48K I'll be sure to to give it a dash-board pat !

I sold my beemer with just over 230000 miles on it, drove just as good as the day i got it when it had 165000 miles on it. built like a tank, just faster

I'll drive it, you can cough up for the fuel John! Where do you live? I've not been to Skye or Mull so far this year? Does that qualify as the "long way"? It'll have to be after my heart Surgery on Monday morning. Tuesday OK for you mate?
Always going to John O'Groats in a Land Rover especially in the snow. Sure you can't manage Monday afternoon so we can get an early start:):)

Bugger...had a call and Surgery now rescheduled for Tuesday morning. At least it's not been cancelled thankfully! So Tuesday evening I'll be ready to go. Last time surgery was at noon and I was still home by about 18:00hs. Thanks for your kind wishes John.

Wishing you the best! Hate saying good luck, sounds like you're going for lucky dip!!
