Sadly I was unable to take pic but patted her dashboard
I sold my beemer with just over 230000 miles on it, drove just as good as the day i got it when it had 165000 miles on it. built like a tank, just fasterNot ever seen that sort of mileage on anyrhing I've owned over 56 years, though a '85 RRC had probably been there more than once, 15 previous owners but only 50K on the clock
If I'm still running my old Beemer when it's done another 48K I'll be sure to to give it a dash-board pat !
ooer matronI'll put a few miles on her for you matey!
Fancy picking me up Mike on your way to Devon and we'll put a few miles on it. Can go the long way if you wantAs my P38 is sat at <18K I think I have a long ways to go yet ;-)
Always going to John O'Groats in a Land Rover especially in the snow. Sure you can't manage Monday afternoon so we can get an early startI'll drive it, you can cough up for the fuel John! Where do you live? I've not been to Skye or Mull so far this year? Does that qualify as the "long way"? It'll have to be after my heart Surgery on Monday morning. Tuesday OK for you mate?
----------- for next week Mike.Bugger...had a call and Surgery now rescheduled for Tuesday morning. At least it's not been cancelled thankfully! So Tuesday evening I'll be ready to go. Last time surgery was at noon and I was still home by about 18:00hs. Thanks for your kind wishes John.
