Metal Intercooler to Manifold Pipe 200TDI Defender

Hi All again.

Nearly there with the conversion.

Now, this part is very expensive to buy new. So i'm thinking can it be made up at home etc?

I need the Top Metal Intercooler Pipe to Manifold Part No. NTC5627

Has anyone had a go at this before? or does anybody have an ideas?
