Remove your existing runners and fit them to the new seats.
Why do you want to wire them up? Is this some vicious form of anti theft system? If so, DOOO share it with the rest of the class!

No the drivers seat is laid flat and I need to lift it up

Get some angle or box section to make up the height you need. It shouldn't be too difficult.
