Hi I am looking for help due to a change in circumstances and failing an Mot our 1997 Disco 300 tdi is looking for a new home the mileage is a genuine 116K it would make a good donor or project vehicle we have owned the car since 99 it`s first registered owner was Landrover and it was purchased from Ron Stratton Knutsford by ourselves .My question is what sort of price should I advertise it for my own feelings is that it is too good to let the scrap man take thanks.

Hi and welcome.

Without knowing the details on the MoT failure, it’s difficult to put a price on it. It could have failed on a bulb or have extensive rust in the body and chassis! Auto trader and eBay are good for gauging what a vehicle is worth.

Some pictures would be a good start if you're looking for a proper opinion, and, as said above. details of the MOT failure.....

Welcome.
My suggestion would be check autotrader and ebay and see what they sell for.

Trying so hard not to be cynical...............

Its worth scrap price 200 quid without seeing it unless it has some nice bits, maybe a bit more if it has some
nice bits on it & its not rotten.
Pictures & reg number are required to check the out the mot history.
