Does the maplin one tell you what the wires do?

If so you then need to get someone with a Disco wiring diagram to hand.

If you email technical@maplin you should be able to get a data sheet for the actuator.

Green and Blue is the supply to the slaves
Brown and White is the operating supply from the C/L ECU.
Black is Ground.

My wiring diagram shows only four wires are used.
You will have to start by getting the maplin actuator working first so forget about the slaves

Black is ground so thats ok.
First try the white connected to the brown/pink and try the fob if nothing happens then try the brown.

The spare unused wire can be taped up, it's the signal wire to the Maplin alarm if that was fitted.

The Maplin actuator may need synchronizing ie. it's unlocking when you are locking so you will need either to push/or pull the solenoid, or provide power to the actuator to alter the present lock/unlock state.

Then connect the slaves up.
green-orange blue-pink but if the master or slave is unlocking and the slave or master are locking (out of synch) just reverse the wires.

Hope the above helps, but when I last replace an actuator was 18 years ago when I fitted an alarm to my old RRC.

thanks good memory, will try when more time off work due, noticed the other doors all lock with fob even though still using disco and using key with driver door, fob also unlocks other doors so thinking dont need to worry about slave wires when fitting new actuator. i also noticed my book only shows 4 wires in diagram. start with two wires go from there let you know how i get on cheers:)
