Hi,
Does someone know if it is possible to fit a non-A/C mantec winchbumper on a A/C equiped Td5? Is there any modification needed apart from cutting the grill?
Because I really like the mantec bumpers but i think the winch sticks out too far on an A/C one.

not sure, I know an ARB one would be tight and will likely interfere with the aircon surround. I had it the otherway around and just cut back my bumper until it was tight.

Ring Mantec, I have spoken to them a lot in the past and they were very very helpful.

Do you have a pic? also depends what winch you want to run.

Sure, this is what I have now. I want a mantec one because i then can bolt an A-bar on and off.
It's a cheap prime-tech winch.

did you have to trim the metal lower part of the radiator panel on the one you have now?

the tray part of the mantec one may be too snug against yours and you may need to chop it in there. I cant see it interfereing anywhere else. you have a normal lowline winch to which helps.

why dont you just buy the AC version? is it 2nd hand?

Because I think the A/C version sticks out way too far to the front. And it's not a second hand one.
