Makita impact wrench.

Looking at either dtw450z @ £179. Or dtw10027 @ £199.
Has anyone any experience with either of these. They both get good write ups. Dont want over kill , but will the cheaper one deliver all I need around the landrover.

Cheers, its better getting a known review over a few years than from someone whose just received it and undone 1 or 2 nuts.

I have the 450, undoes most things but I’d get the more powerful one given the choice now.

What does it struggle with? Have the front crank oil seal to replace soon. I torqued it after changing cambelt but didn't use lock tite.

Ive gt the DTW285. Has done every job ive asked of it. Undid all the hubnuts on my 110 without issue. Cheaper and lighter too but I would like a more powerful one for the stubborn jobs.

Doesn’t really struggle but I think it’s always nice to have the extra power available, especially as I’ve also a large van to work on which has some big nuts on it.

I think the crank nut has the highest torque so as long it can get that undone I'll be happy.
