Hi All,

I had a problem with lumpy running at constant revs and idle issues which turned out to be the connections between my Synergy 2 and the car - cleaning and refitting solved the problem but recently it has returned so I have removed the synergy box and all is good again - but close to normal land rover slow.

So I'm going to bin the synergy box, can't be bothered with having to clean and refit the connectors every 3k.

But I miss the umph so a remap is the next logical step - I'd like to know who has used who and what results?

Thanks

use 'contralube' on the connections .. ( dielectric grease )
it will prevent the corrosion taking place ..

not suprised with all the rain over the past few months
that some folk are getting misfiring 'n whatnot ..

~~~~~
after one heavy downpour ..
the 'dish' surrounding the oil filler was a veritable minature swimming pool
can imagine that with an ill fitting oil filler cap .. water Might just get down to the sump
.. was not 'water-in-sump' cited as a cause for snapping cranks ?
i've since drilled 3 small drain holes in that 'dish' ..
on the far left .. where the water will not drip onto the injector wiring ..
have considered removing the cover off the synergy box ..
and treating the innards with suitable anti-corrosive ..
so far have have sealed it in a waterproof covering ..
maybe i'll take it apart next year 'n see what the state of the innards be like
so far no problems at all with the synergy and the electrical connections
since feburary this year 'n 6k miles
