Hi all,
I I have noticed some loud bangs coming from under neath the car when I was driving the car back from field work. It seemed to have stastartwhen the car was stuck in the mud really bad and had to do a lot of back and forth to get it out. Dealer said it might be the center diff pins. Are these difficult to change or can it be done with the transfer box in situ?

transfer box needs to be out ,you can feel play in center diff by jacking a front and rear wheel up and holding both props turn each opposite carefully to feel the free play

Thanks for the reply James, I still need to check that out. Do you know if the shaft cross with the diff gears sit within the differential assembly?
I also assume that i will only know what to buy when I remove the trans box?
