Iv got single point injection lpg on my v8 disco, was switching over fine on the test drive and when i collected it.

The LPG level got to 1 blob on the gauge and it started to stall when it changed over from petrol to LPG, restarted fine just a pain changing to N then starting it up and back to D to keep moving.

Is that normal when the level gets a bit low? Iv just filled the LPG tank today so hopefully that'll cure the stalling, if it doesnt is there anything i can do? or check?

first time it changed over after filling it stalled, 2nd time a few miles later it continued to run, will have to see how it goes
Little filter might be full of bits, worth cleaning it out anyway.
(The LPG filter)

i'll try to find/clean the lpg filter tomorrow, even with the full tank it still cuts out when it changes over, it will sometimes change over fine as well, very odd, i think it might benefit from the throttle body and idle control valve being cleaned if its anything like the 4.6 i had. It also changes over very quickly, less than 30 seconds running from cold it just changes over, a bit quick maybe?

It should be in line near or on the vaporiser unit, my 3.9 Rangie used to change over seamlessly every time, does the solenoid click straight away when you switch it over? might be a bit lazy sometimes, just a thought.

It is an injection model isn't it, otherwise you have to run the carbs dry of petrol before switching to gas??

Had a closer look today, yes its the old EFI system.

Traced the hose from the vapouriser to the inlet manifold and there isnt a filter on it only a device with wires so at a guess the injector?

The hose to the inlet carries gas. You need to trace the copper feed pipe to the vapouriser which carries liquid gas which is converted to gas propper by the vapouriser. If that makes sense....There sould be a solenoid with a filter attatched, just a matter of undoing the bolt, taking the lid off and cleaning out, engine off of course.
It may not be the filter that is the problem but worth cleaning the bits out anyway if it's done a bit of mileage.
