For my sins took a trip up to watch Man U last night. To save some shillings took the LPG'd Classic. Had a good steady run and didn't have to think about refilling with LPG until on the way home. About halfway between Manchester and Birmingham on the M6. First 2 service stations didn't do it 3rd did it but didn't have any Next couple didn't do it. Run out of LPG just past Brum, tried next service stn, had it but pump not working Didn't bother stopping again and finished journey on Petrol!!
Covered about 80 miles on one of the Uk's busiest stretches of motorway and despite several attempts to get LPG was unsuccessful.
What with the daily increases in LPG really starting to think a Diesel RR is the only way foward.
On a good note the Classic didn't miss a beat and averaged 18mpg on LPG until it run out
