lpg filler advice please

hi all :welcome2:

i need to remove my rear bumper to fit my tow bar. problem i have is that the lpg filler is mounted on the rear bumper in the n/s twoning electric space. can i take the filler off without losing all my gas ? if so how? and does anyone know what size the torx bolt heads are coz i got to buy the socket to fit it.

it SHOULD be attached with a "CIR_CLIP" ( Shaped like a "D") lever it off & the "Hose" & Connection will stay in place .... If you've got a "FULL tow bar" drill a hole in it & attach it to that, ( on my old Disco mine was "swingin loose" & only held in place by 2 Zip ties!!!!!!)

the lpg tank should have a oneway valve to allow gas in but not out of the filler connector
so in the event of an accident the ruptured pipe would not emty the tank and fuel a fire
i have removed both bumpers on my 2 rangies just undone the filler hose and a small amount of gas escapes then you can take the pipe of alltogether
