Untill then try this one(2 men job): open bonnet and ask someone to hold down the bonnet switch because next steps 1 to 7 must be done within 8 seconds:eek:

1. ignition ON
2. ignition OFF
3. lock doors by sill button
4. unlock doors by sill button
5. yell to assistant to release bonnet switch
6. ignition ON
7. ignition OFF

If u moved well and alarm is correctly accessed u'll get a horn and red alarm LED will light and stay on.....now u can programme the fobs(max. 2 fobs).....next steps (8 to 10) must be done within max. 2 mins

8. press and hold down button on first fob untill red LED flashes a few times
9. repeat step 8 for the second fob
10. if u did well the LED will go out.

WARNING: if only one fob is programmed after step 8 turn ignition ON and OFF......READY

Do some training before.....this trick is working just if u are fast and handy.

I've copyed this procedure from a site some time ago(I don't remember wich one)to have it just in case.... but didnt use it myself to confirm that is really working......it's up to u now

It could be because the one you got hold of is not the right one. There are a number (3?) of different ones, that work at different frequencies. If the one you have got hold of doesn't match your alarm ecu it's not going to work. Have a look at www.remotekey.co.uk

bugger - that means i cant get a spare one then :(

acterlee - does yu know - does it sync the blipper to the car - or the car to the blipper?
