An empty wallet every month
Well I have a disco TD5 so doubt it will be much worse than that in terms of being a money pit.
So how much do I need to spend on a 90 to get something half decent?

I bought a 300tdi 2.5 years ago and its cost me a front axle rebuild, new chassis and a few other bits.
Theres alot of **** out there so take your time whe looking.
You'll either be looking a pretty decent tdi or a reasonable td5 for 6k

Should get a 300tdi on galv chassis for that
Take your time looking. Don't rush anything and save yaself 1000 back incase somthing big needs doing. I looked around for month or so before replacing me previous 90. 2800 pounds got me a 100% solid immaculate 1993 200tdi hardtop 90. Entire chassis&bulkhead not a blemish on. All kitted out ready to go. 99% out-there will be heaps you just gota find that 1. Good look mate! And have fun!...
